Setup your new Link with help of our Demo Tutorial Or follow the step-by-step guide below:
Go to the Links Tab and click on the “Add Link” blue button.
In the “Settings” section, give a clear and easy-to-identify name to your new Link, so you can rapidly find it the next time you want to use it in a future campaign, and then input your landing page’s URL in the “Landing URL” field.
In the “Query Parameters” section, you’ll be able to decide whether you want us to populate the same data provided by the visitors on our traffic sources automatically in your landing page, or if you want them to enter their information again, manually.
If you don’t want us to pre-populate the data, leave the default setting “No prepop”. If you prefer to save your visitors some effort and improve your conversion rate, select the option “Yes, of course, pre-pop”.
If your choice is the latter, fill in the attributes fields provided by ZAN, such as “First Name”, “Last Name”, “Phone”, “Email”, etc., depending on the data you are collecting on your landing page.
Remember to enter the title of the attributes attributes in the exact same way they are represented in your internal system. For example, if in your system the First Name of the leads is processed as “first_name”, that is the code you want to input in the “First Name” field.
Ensure the attributes you are adding match exactly how they are identified in your system. Even minor discrepancies, such as a single letter, underscore, or comma, can cause lead delivery to fail. For example, if your system represents the field “Phone” with the word “phone,” only with minus characters, and you input “Phone” with a capital “P,” the entire lead delivery setup will fail, and you won’t be able to receive your leads’ data.
Repeat this process for all the fields you wish to collect.
Additionally, if you need to collect additional custom parameters from leads, you can add them in the “Custom Parameters” field, separating them with an “&” sign. Remember to input them exactly as they appear in your internal system.
To be certain your Link’s setup is working correctly, go to the “Test Link” section and click the “Test Link” green button. Once you are sure the link is redirecting to your landing page, save your configurations by clicking on the green “Save” button.
If this is not your first campaign, and you want to use the same Link from a previous one, just click on the green “Load Settings From Another Link” button, select the desired Link setup, and click on the green “Save” button.
