Don’t get stuck paying for the same old customers multiple times, set up audience lists for your campaigns and avoid paying for customers you already own. It’s simple, the minute a visitor interacts with a Zeeto placement we’ll check to see if they’re already one of your customers. If that customer already exists in your database (email or phone number), or in your uploaded file, we will stop your campaign from being shown to that visitor.
To learn how to setup a Suppressión, you can visit our Demo Tutorial, or follow the next guide.
In the Suppression Tab, click “Upload file” and choose your Suppression file, which should be in CSV format and contain the email or phone number
data of your leads. Make sure to not include headers or special characters.
Next, define if your file contains Email or Phone numbers from your leads in the “Data Type” section. Also, specify if the data is plain text or MD5 hashed. If it’s hashed, phone numbers should include the country code and space before the number.
And lastly, choose “Suppress: Do not show my campaign to anyone on this list” in the “File Purpose” section, and click on the green “Upload” button.
To integrate a Suppression URL, navigate to the Suppression Tab, and click on the “Add URL” button.
Once in the Add URL Settings page, give a name to your Suppression. Remember to make it clear and easy to locate in case you might need to use the same Suppression URL in future campaigns.
Now, enter the URL of your database (make sure to use ‘http://…etc’) and select the posting method, depending on your internal system: POST or GET. In “Hash Format” choose “MD5” (IMPORTANT: You are required to use lowercase MD5 Hashing to keep leads confidential).
The next required field is “Response Body Pattern” under the “Success Response Parsing” section, where you specify the response indicating a lead is approved, such as “Success”, etc.
Last step is to ensure the new Suppression will be pinged before bidding for a lead, by going to the “Test Suppression” section and clicking on the green “Test Suppression” button.
NOTE: Maintaining an updated Suppression File manually can be inefficient and prone to inaccuracies due to the need for constant CSV file replacements. For a more streamlined and accurate process, we highly recommend connecting to an online database using a Suppression URL.
If this isn’t your first campaign and you wish to utilize the same Suppression from a previous one, navigate to the “Settings” section. Under “Reference Name,” choose “Already Exists” instead of the default “New” setup. Then, select the desired Suppression setup and click on the green “Save” button at the bottom of the page.
